Matthew’s pragmatic approach to legal issues and related matters is the result of nearly three decades of multi-disciplinary experience and work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, business, and the law.

Introduction

Matthew enjoys representing and advising start-ups and emerging mid-tier companies, as well as select private clients, in business, real estate, energy and natural resources and personal law. As a co-founder of multiple companies in the technology, professional services, and resource industries, Matthew has firsthand experience with the everyday challenges facing his clients and offers pragmatic, holistic solutions.

He is a named author on several technology patents. Matthew has significant experience tenaciously advocating for his private clients with respect to personal injury and related tort and insurance disputes. His practice is nearly all referral based, a testament to his clients’ trust and enduring relationships, now often spanning generations.

Matthew volunteers his time serving on several not-for-profit boards and serving as a volunteer high school tennis coach. Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys traveling, tennis, skiing and spending time with his wife and three children in any fashion.
